Yet another Victory for a SpeedSails Sailor, this time at the Seven Sailing Club for the Solo Open, this time Ken Elsey came away victorious.
"Fourteen Solos took part in the Frampton on Severn Solo Open on September 5th. The wind was a pleasant force 3 to 4 South Easterly though with some rain showers. The club Laser fleet ran the races well with excellent courses. They even found the skills to remove fishing line that had got wrapped around a swan's wing and leg. The swan went away happy and apparently unhurt"

A big well done to Speed Sails sailor who this past weekend completed victory at the GP14 Midlands Champs at South Staffordshire Sailing Club
"34 GP’s contested the Harken sponsored GP14 Midland Area Championships at South Staffs Sailing Club over 4th and 5th September. 16 visitors and 18 South Staffs boats completed a 6 race series with 5 races to count. The highlight of the weekend was the quality of the close racing and the lively social on Saturday night, which included a hog roast, live band and comical routine to Apache, Sugarhill Gang performed by Ed Bradburn and Chris White (aka Twist & Pulse)!"

Speed Sails have put together this tuning guide to help you set your boat up close to its ideal settings. These settings should be regarded as a starting point for fine tuning as individual boats and crews may need to alter them slightly for best performance. When you have your boat set up, remember to mark everything so that the settings can be reproduced quickly.
